In a world where everyone with an Instagram account is a public figure and influencer, We must be conscientious of how we learn, challenge and help one another. One thing we do a little different here at our agency is that we share the love.

We share the business, and we feed the ecosystem.

We share what is working, what isn’t, what software should be utilized, what apps each other is using and so much more.

We want to all be there for our clients, right? It’s important to communicate and not be redundant or duplicate effort on our client's dollar.

With this in mind I put together a list of 9 apps you should be using if you are in marketing, sales, content creation or really just interested in standing out online.

This is a toolkit full of the fun options you actually want to use and not just an app that takes up storage we all need. Create beautiful story sets, before and after comparisons, looks, and much more. Be warned, you may be playing with this all day!

Snow is like unfold but with a few more neat options. This allows you to have lots of filters, change the backgrounds of the story sets you make, VCR and vintage camera lens and neat options to really make you stand out. You can also play music in your stories, make gifs, boomerangs and really engaging posts.

The disposable cameras we all used to buy in hopes that when the film got developed at least ONE turned out just okay. This timestamps the photo, and adds some vintag-y looking filters to the photo. It's pretty rad actually.

CLEANER

This combs through all your followers and picks out things like people who follow you who haven’t been online in 30, 60, 90 days.

What does this matter? Well, it matters because every post, every dollar, every bit of effort you put into advertising and marketing gets buried because of ghost followers. These could be folks that never buy from you and just look at your stuff, who do not meet the buyer persona or ideal customer profile. These are profiles who drag us down and decrease our return on investment. With Cleaner you now know who is hurting your algorithm and can block them.

Into coffee? Download this app, load in your logo, photo of your dog, client logo and wow your next meeting. It's very easy to use and you can send them to your local coffee shop so they are done when you get there. If you're in Saint John, Java Moose can do this! No longer do you have to feel bad about holding up the line to get your best friends fave rock star on their latte!

CANVA

This is a no brainer and on every list I ever put out. Why is it so great? It’s very user friendly, addictive and you can get most of what you need for under 12$ a month! I use this tool and app everyday and would be lost without it. There is a desktop version if you really want to dive into things but also a mobile version for stories and header photos. This is definitely my fave piece of software out there right now.

HEADSPACE

This is for taking 5 minutes when you don’t know how to even find 5 minutes. Start with 2 minutes and try a lesson everyday.

This is used for all video calls, webinars, recording demos, and discovery sessions. Needless to say, it is a vital tool for us.  We have tried a number of different software tools, but this one definitely rocks! Step aside Skype and GoToMeeting, there's a new hero in town.
